I'm currently doing physics and more physics. I can't afford to let Dr.Chua down after all his explanation on phone and assestment books that he bought for me and kexin. To appreciate his effort, all I can do is to work hard for my O lvl physics and get an A.

When we were young,we don't care how we lead our life. We just need our toys and some computer games to get over everything. We don't really care how we feel. Just the thought of having something to play amuses you, and makes you smile. As we grow older, we realized that toys and games are just calefair in our life. There's much more things like friends and family, boyfriends, girlfriends, to notice. Emotions began to develop- from joy overflowing to suicidal thoughts.

I'm not seeking for perfection, but being unique. Nobody is perfect. We can only focus on how to face life and reality in different ways and method. I like my way of facing life.

What I like most about myself. I can be very cheerful and optimistic. In times of darkness, I guess I'll be able to light up myself and stay happy-go-lucky. Regardless of how many negative comments there are, I guess none of them actually penetrates through my skin, to my heart. Even if they do, it will only be there for a short time, not permanently. BECAUSE, IM THICK SKINNED! :) And I love being myself. I like to spread the joy to everyone and see people smiling from ear to ear.

What I dislike about myself. I think I lost hope easily sometimes. It is hard to be a politician and I always get discouraged when I look at my studies and results. I just keep thinking that I can't make it at all. I don't really shine in class by having good results. And I'm dumb most importantly. But look who's there? There's derrick goh kor :) Man.. he really kind of encouraged me today by saying all sorts of encouraging words, which really keeps me going. Thanks DERRICK GOH! :)

I guess, the best part of life is having great people all around. They encourages you with their words and actions. At least, I feels that way. :) thanks, best friends, kor and di! and you who make my day :) I really dislike myself for being so short-tempered. I'm sorry :(

1st game- yishun town sec. i played with this guy that is from Jamaica. But i seriously forgot his name already. I REALLY CANT REMEMBER! HOW?! But i lost to him eh. Dont know whats wrong with me.

2nd game- pioneer sec. trashed this girl named hanisah by 257 points. this team like kinda guailan one. aiya forget it.

3rd game- marsling sec. oh-my-god. i played with this guy named benedict. Jiajun told me that he cheated me a few times. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

4th game- YU YING SEC. this is really oh-my-gee. i had been practicing with these people for the past 1 or 2 months. Thanks to facebook scrabble which connects me and zhaoyuan tgt first. but i won this game by 61 :D if that person nv bingo then i will.............................

5th game- woodgrove sec. fun! i played with this very very friendly guy call Jen choo. and i won the game by 290. weeeeeeeeeee :D

and in the end we got the 2nd for bowl category ^^

end of scrabble competition. enjoyed meeting new people :)

If you bother to come to my facebook profile and see, you will see that the number of games that I played had increased over the days. Not by 1 or 2. But by 10 or 20 okay. So shut up and get a life before calling other people slacker.

I want to treat you like a team mate. But look at your actions. When people treat you well, you took advantage over the situation and try to show how powerful you are and blablabla by shoving their tiles away. Do you know the real meaning of SPORTSMANSHIP in scrabble? Let the person take away the tiles themselves and don't laugh in their face. As an opponent yourself, you wouldn't want others to laugh at you in the face when your word is not accepted. And if you're going to carry that ass attitude all around the interschool scrabble competition, you're jolly well going in there to throw your fucking face off.

Look. We are from riverside sec. We are no biggies as compared to schools like raffles and hwa Chong. Not to mention marsling sec and yishun town sec who probably don't put us in their eyes.

I don't go to school, so imma slacker. Is that even related to scrabble? Hey Look. If you bother to go and find out and spy, come my house and take a look. I'm studying at home. Look at those physics notes and amaths assestment books. They are not for show. Those are the work that I'm doing at home while missing sch. Going to sch is an absolute waste of time just by hearing our subject teachers name. You don't have to give your shit comments on such stuffs.

Btw, I know my priorities. Studies are important. But scrabble is also equally important. I had planned my time well since last month. I've focused on studies for a few weeks. Just this crucial week which scrabble is just like 5 days away, I'm giving my full attention to it. I'm equally stressed. It feels as if everyone is looking up to me. Be it my own team mates or outsiders. You don't feel it. Cos you're not me.

Hey look. Not that I don't want tell you what's wrong with you. Just go around and ask other people. All of them have something to say. Trust me.

One advice to you: don't just see problems on the surface, look deeper into it. So stop saying me. I'm trying hard like everyone.

HELIX. wahlau I did something stupid. i used hot water and poured over it while i was bathing. And it HURTS.LIKE.MAD.

I met bird, rabbit and dog today ^^ NO I NEVER GO TO THE ZOO. I just go to some place that seems like a zoo to me. Korean war "may break out at any moment": North Korea

GENEVA - A North Korean diplomat said Thursday that tensions on the Korean peninsula were running so high over the sinking of a South Korean warship that "war may break out at any moment."

In a speech to the international Conference on Disarmament, Ri Jang-Gon, deputy permanent representative for North Korea at the United Nations in Geneva, blamed the "grave situation" on South Korea and the United States.

"The present situation of the Korean peninsula is so grave that a war may break out at any moment," he said.

However, North Korea needed a "peaceful environment" for its progress, he added.

I dislike doing reflections. In fact, during every alumni's meeting where we have to write reflection, i just want to get it done and over. Just don't like to do reflections.

But i did one reflection on my life just now. Like am i going to continue and live like what i'm living now? My daily routine is always:

I wonder.

I should really put in more heart in studies. Shouldn't be slacking at this time of the year now. But somehow, I see no hope and gave up. Esp when some of my teachers are not encouraging. Amaths is alright tho. You get to see reality in Mrs Tan's lesson.

How true it is that people will disappoint you.

I dislike half-hearted people. If you want to win, jolly well get a life and start training hard now. You won't want to go to the competition hall and get trashed badly and left with regrets. No, please don't say I talk too much about the game. You are the one who talk very little about it. I still prioritize my studies and did my homework like normal. I'm not a kid who doesn't know what is reality. Train hard doesn't mean we practice everyday. My definition of training hard is to treasure every games played and learn something out of it.

I don't want much from you. I just want you to put in more passion in what you're doing. Don't take things lightly. You will suffer much from that kind of attitude.

Please complete a game, instead of quitting halfway. Start leading your members.

Chiongggggggg ahhhhhhhh! It's time for hardcore training till June already.

I played many games of scrabble today. Out of 10 games, i won 7 games. It's not a bad day afterall. But Tiu Jia Jun kinda make me depressed.

Big thank you to those people that played with me : Andrew Sng, Yong Ming, Brianston, Yongfa, Sherilyn, Lokshing, James and Jia Jun. I gained a few experiences today. I managed to do quite a number of bingo.

Ahhh I hope i can keep it up!

TODAY GOT DOG RUN INTO OUR SCHOOL! I dont know why but recently alot of nonsense things happened in our school. I was with Cherie @ the Parade Square and suddenly we heard screams from the canteen. we're like " what happened? maybe someone's birthday. i see! " Then suddenly, got alot of people start standing up @ the parade square and crowding around. I was like, " what happened man?! " and stood up. A DOG LOLZ. And everyone are like " WTF " LOL. And got some idiot sec 1s chase after that dog. Milhan/Jamie Chong/ Lee Tze Hong all chase after it along with some sec 1s. THE SCENE WAS SO FUNNY SIA.

WHY DO PEOPLE CHASE AFTER DOGS AND NOT DOGS CHASE AFTER THEM?!

" Who are the most important people in your life? "

Someone posted this question to me once, and I answered 'Friends.' Now I realized that there's more people that are more important whom I didn't really take notice yet, and I didn't really treasure them to the utmost. My answer to this question now is: My Grandparents.

Usually parents would spend time with their newborn babies, but guess what, I was the opposite. I lived with my grandparents since young as my parents had to work. Moreover, after meeting up with my parents divorce, i lived with my grandparents. My grandfather worked hard for this family and managed to earn some money to continue living. My grandmother cook good food everyday and entertain my nonsense friends when they come to my house. The best: when I'm doing my homework, my grandmother will usually ask, " you hungry ma? want eat egg with bread? " OR i will go up to her and say, " ahma, i very hungry cook for me this this this this this. " and she will cook for me even though she complain frequently. Whatever I want, they will give me. Whatever I wished, they will gift me. Ultimately, when i complain about something being bad, they will make it better and give in to my ideas, despite the nags on their mouth.

I didn't talk to my grandfather much. But usually when i'm in school till somehow late, he will call me up and say, " eh, i'm around your school here. i fetch you want anot? " knowing that my answer is no, he will still ask. (cos i always hangout at cwp after school) He came home late every night and I didn't have a chance to see him that much as i sleep quite early. Even if he comes back before I sleep, we didn't talk to each other at all, cos there's nothing much for us to talk about.

I really love my grandparents a lot. Their actions made me feel attached to them unknowingly and love them unconsciously. I dont know how to express my love but i shall try to be a good girl from now on!

O lvls is stress and so is JC life, i admit. don't make it seems like JC is the only stress part of your life. I'm stress too. Especially when I'm failing both my sciences in the wrong year. Especially when I couldn't catch up with work and is on the verge of breaking down and giving up. so what JC? are you like one level higher than me? ya. but you're intelligent, i am not. so logically, i should be more stress.

Yes, i personally AM sick of school. No one likes Singapore's education system or Riverside Shit Focus study which ends at 5.30pm daily. But i still go to school daily, work hard in the day and afternoon, had a great dinner with sally, and go home. i missed school for 3 days this year, yes. but i had a good reason and i tried very hard to get back to the same track as you guys. lucky for me, i don't miss much lessons text on the days i'm absent. I tried very hard to minimize the number of days of absent.

Focus study IS a waste of time. I complain about it everyday. I had a problem with it everyday. Don't talk about focus study. HOMEWORKS. Yeah i complain about it everyday. But is there a time where i didn't even touch my homework or fail to hand in on time? Is there a time where i drove teacher to mad becos of late submission of homework? Did i fail to attend those focus study like more than 1 time? noooo. I still go like as per normal.

Yeah, i tried to be ' alive. ' but many people took it for granted. I don't particularly feels happy and hyper but i still try to act like one. why? because i couldn't take it when i see those stressed up faces. but what do i get in return for being alive? attitude. that kind of weird stare. rolling eyes. what do you take me for?

School kinda suck when you have slack and useless lessons that doesn't help you to recap old things even if you sit there for minutes after minutes.

Amaths was my worse lesson of the day. I couldn't do differentiation really well and i had problems with it. I couldn't catch what Mrs Tan was trying to say and i had quite a number of problems trying to differentiate such simple equations. omgosh what the hell is wrong with me?

Physics was the next worse lesson of the day. Can't he just tell us where to go every week? How do we heck know whether to go lab or to go to learning hub for lesson? It's not as if we communicate by brainwaves?

English and Humans Focus are like the usual slack lesson and it's wasting my time.

Total suck lessons. but i still love my classmates all around ^^

9th Inter-school scrabble competition (detailed)

Anyway, a more detailed post on today's scrabble competition.

My team consist of Siraj (Captain), Farlyanna, Jarren, Wai Jie and Me. We arrived at St. Patrick School at around 1 and our match started at around 1.30pm. Our first game was against Bukit Panjang Govt High. I was against this girl named Rachelle and both of us are like damn nervous. But not that bad, in the end i lost only by 39. There's this imba guy that suck a lollipop. He won waijie by 700 points. We're like woooow. And he look so imba confident with his game and stuffs. And he's like really really imba.

Siraj was the most xiasuay one. He didnt even know how to use the scrabble clock and he dont know how to calculate some points. :( He's our fabulous captain man LOL. Anyway, the spread for the first game was like -700 or -600? Kinda suck. everyone in our team lost to them. Total score for this game: 238

2nd game was the best among all. We had this strategy of sitting "boy-girl-boy-girl-boy." And I got to know this guy with the chim name Christophorous Anderson from Unity sec. Siraj and Jarren was like, " Jelyn you like pressurizing him sia! " But I think that my opponent is the one that pressurizes me! He look like some kind of pro sitting down there and waiting for me to be seated down and play. But I think at his 3rd turn or something, he felt abit of stress and took out his mentos mints. So I got relaxed abit. Like after a few turns, he was winning and i got tensed up ._. When he had finished his tiles, I had one tile left. No matter where I put it, he just wanna challenge like some mad guy and like wtf, all the words are unaccepted! And i was like, " argh die die, confirm lost alr. " Total score for this game : 251

But in the end, i checked his scoresheet, and realised that i won him by 34 points. sorry ;(

3rd game was kind of relax. My opponent was this guy named Wei Jun from Woodgrove Sec. After first 3 turns, I got a total score of 84 and he got like 2o-30 points only. So he was like on the verge of giving up. There's this turn where he can't form a word at all. So I told him to show me his tiles and I helped him to form a 10+ points word. He was rather grateful to me. LOL. and i helped him 3 times in total i think. That's like a total score of 30+? In the end, I won him by 115 points difference. Not a bad game, but my best game among all 3. Total score for this game : 335

I like playing scrabble with other school people. It's like when you're playing with your own schoolmates, you will either know their skills already or underestimate them after knowing their class and stuffs. So it's not really challenging and you won't really treat the game seriously.

I really hope that we can get into the quarterfinals. It's my last scrabble competition in Secondary school already :D At least get a placing or so. But even if we didn't make it in, it's alright. I already treat this as a learning experience. It was fun making new friends and talking nonsense with many people. Laughing like mad infront of them, knowing how they tricked people into challenging their words with their nonsense face. Right, weijun?

Overall, I would give it a rating of 8/10. Nice game to begin with! nice people too!

Scrabble was fun!

Part of it was because i had a great team, part of it was because my opponents are funny! I used dumb words like " Sroy " But nevertheless, i helped this opponent from woodgrove to finish all his tiles. what a great player i am xD

School wasn't really that boring. It was kinda fun to begin with.

Woonkian, Syarif and Andrew was dealing with woonkian's lenless specs. Syarif cut out some "lens" made up of A4 SIZE PAPER (not foolscap pad) and paste it on the specs frame. I then helped woonkian to draw some hearts on the paper lens. and made it look like some lovesick asshole's eyes.

I wear the specs and stand outside the class. 4/4 people just happened to pass by the class and they stare at me. They were like, " What is she doing?! " LOL. I walked into 4/9 and they're like " JELYN YOU SCARE ME! I THOUGHT WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR EYES! "

Mr Lim said that he should retire as a POA teacher. He taught the class control accounts for 1 hour and I taught Jinlin control accounts for 2 mins. ( I teach faster than him) Ratio is 60:2 = 30:1. Jinlin understands and is doing it nao!

Besides that, the next big thing was that......................

For some reason, I'm feeling damn stressed up these few days. Pressure = Force / Area. The force of my homework and revision over my puny brain = big pressure.

Anyway, school had been fun with dares after dares. Andrew and Woonkian are able to think up evil dares for me to do. And I shall have to suffer with their dares. hahahahahahah. Shurong entertains me with her laughter and Kaichong...... Haiz. He say he's going to change his ways from guailan to not guailan. I think he's lying. Oh well, HIS TRUE NATURE LOL.

Took class photo today. Great year, some new things happened for the Formal photo. Class comm have to wear the school's blazer make up of cheap wool and it's thicker than my POA TB which makes you feel so warm and sticky even if you wear it for a short while. And it's very big. It fits me somehow. This year's class photo is my first " sit on chair and take a photo "in my whole secondary school life. i was like" YAY FINALLY "

There's more and more focus tomorrow. I kena Mr Tsung's mock exam oral.

DAMMIT

I had been doing so many wrong things recently. I just want you to face life. Is that like so difficult?

How to love people to my utmost? I think i like lack of love these few days =.=

So many things on my mind =.=

1st: Been putting too much pressure on myself in study wise. I keep pushing myself until i cannot take it, to a point that I don't even want to touch a book. Been chionging too much i think :/ Omgosh, why am I complaining when it's just the beginning. nooooooooooooooo! Okay let's stop complaining.

2nd: Physics SPA. OMGOSH man, I screw up. I dont know how to do it! No other comments :D

3rd: Chem electrolysis test. I SCREWED IT. I think im going to get single digit for sure.

4th: NAPFA. Okay it's finally over. But I'm still not happy with my time even though I passed.

5th: I want to sleep.

besides that, school had been really fun with great people sitting all around me. We'll become 4/6 daredevils one day. People like Andrew, Syarif and Woonkian, Shurong. Sex Therapist Andrew Lee is going to clean Iskandar and Kevin psychologically tomorrow. HAHAHAHAHA.

Ah, I dont know how am i suppose to feel right now.

I mean, to be present in alumni meetings is a choice. It's not as if I'm pointing a gun at your head, tying you up and telling you to move right? If you regret joining alumni, then why join in the first place? Alumni is a place for you to keep in touch with your friends especially when you are in secondary school already. Do you think I can actually be such good friends with people like Kexin, Meiting and Siangqin if there's no alumni? No! I won't even know Siangqin at all. I won't even know how nonsense can Meiting be even if we're in the same batch. I won't even talk to the busy Kexin who have no time for me everyday. I won't even get a chance to experience their leadership capacity and their hyper mode. It's not something you can experience everyday and see everytime.

Alumni is for memories. Do you think you can keep in touch with your primary school for your whole life? Not at all man. Alumni is here for you till you're 18 years old. After that, you're free off. Whether you can keep in touch with your primary school friends... It's your problem man. Even if you don't want to keep in touch with your primary school friends, treat alumni as part of your memory and learning experience. Who knows what you will encounter in future? Secondary school might not be able to provide opportunities to plan camps and stuffs. Even if opportunities are provided, great. You can plan MORE camps to gain experience.

Alumni is not for play only. If you want games for every meeting, go timezone instead. When there's serious work, you sit down and listen and pay attention. Listen hard. Play hard after that. During my era, we don't have the luxury of playing games during meetings. We even had loads of lectures and faces from teachers when we did something wrong or we're too playful. BE GRATEFUL when you get those black faces from the EXCO members only. If you want to have a taste of what an alumni meeting should like, it's just scoldings and serious work.

Know the time: When to have fun, when to work, when to be serious. You don't get opportunities like that everyday I assure you. It's not a waste of time. We're making history in EVG Pri.

Keep this in mind:

We're here to play. at the same time, we're here to work and lead.

I want to post! Today is the funniest day ever for this week. IT'S LAUGH-LIKE-MAD DAY!

Woonkian damn guailan sia. Or rather should I say me?

Today during Emaths focus, there's this Mr Woon that came to relief my class. He was explaining some emaths question but there's no response from the class. Mr Woon then say, " why is it that there's no one listening? It's as if i'm talking to the wall. " So Woonkian, being kind, replied by saying" ORH. ORH. ORH. " Mr Woon then say, " Thank you for the reply, but I don't need this kind of acknowledgement. "

I turn to woonkian and dare him to tell the teacher, " Teacher, continue to talk to the wall then. "

HAHAHAHA. and we talked alot of craps.

I'm going to dare all the Physics student to walk right up to the Bio teacher, point at their throat and say, " teacher, can you see my Oesophagus? "

it's going to be a scene. Wonder how's she gonna react at this.

Did 3 pranks as a class.

1, FT period.

Xinlei and Jianqi moved the locker to the front door and blocked the entrance. Then they close the door. Miss Sim walked in from the front door and screamed at Xinlei & Jianqi to move back the lockers. After that, she screamed at me for not pinning up the coat of arms thingy on the notice board.

FAILED

2, EM period.

All of us decided to tell Miss Wu that we didn't do our homework. But she knows about the prank (not fun). After that, she FLY to the staffroom. Xinlei and Jianqi moved the locker to the front door again. Woonkian put a rubber rat in her pencilcase. Afterwards, she came back to class again. She got owned by us and naturally, she would scream at Jianqi and Xinlei. YES SHE DID. and the poor people have to move back the lockers again. Miss wu unzipped her pencilcase so many times but didnt notice the rat.

FAILED

3, Chem period.

Again, the people moved the locker to the front door again. All of us turned the table and faced the noticeboard and pretended nothing happened. Miss wong walks in and screamed at the people that moved the locker. The locker was moved back once again and we had to turn back our tables.

EPIC FAIL.

But mass run was cancelled and the whole school was cheering like some mad idiots.

You can only come in to this land with extra hardwork, determination, passion, belief and an optimistic heart. This is our famous restaurant called " The Dreamland." Here in our menu, you can have a taste of our new dish called "dream." It may be too sweet so beware of diabetes but on the other hand, it might taste abit sour, salty, bitter or spicy. But no worries, there's always this cup of refreshing drinking water which is called, " memories " to help you to get over these weird taste. While drinking this cup of water called "memories, " you will be able to remember how much effort you had put in to come into this land of goals and dreams. Remember, there's always sugar at the side for you to add but it comes along with requirements. Below are the requirements to use sugar:

1. Extra Hardwork
2. Determination
3. Passion
4. Belief
5. Optimistic Heart

Only when you have this 5 qualities, you can use sugar as and when you like. Enjoy your day!

Goals and Dreams doesn't come along easy and in contrast to, it fails easily too. It depends on your will power- whether you want it to be fulfilled or not. In this realistic world, you either choose to destroy those pessimistic comments or to be destroyed by it. You cant possibly get destroyed and still wanna destroy; cant possibly destroy and get destroyed; Other ways only leads you to condemnation.

If you fail, it's not finished. If you get destroyed, it's not the end. It's just the beginning of your journey- to test whether you had the remaining courage to continue on with the road and to test your determination.
